The regional meeting under the UNDA-funded project "Accelerating transition towards Circular Economy in UNECE region" (2021-2024) unfolded on 18th and 19th October in Belgrade, Serbia, signaling a significant milestone in the project's progress.

The Circular STEP Regional Policy Dialogue, a collaborative effort between UNECE and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia, aimed to facilitate the exchange of best practices, experiences, and insights in the realm of circular economy. The meeting showcased a series of analytical studies on circular economy developed by UNECE, providing a platform to explore ideas for the practical implementation of policy recommendations derived from these studies.

Attendees had the opportunity to engage with Circular Change's funder and executive director, Ladeja Godina Košir, who delivered a keynote speech on circular business models.
