Circular Change has once again teamed up with ECOTOPIA, a program dedicated to fostering sustainable development education on an international scale. This collaboration is part of the broader EUTOPIA Alliance of Universities, which aims to create a unified and forward-thinking educational framework across Europe.
As part of this initiative, Circular Change is offering a series of five virtual lectures focusing on the circular economy. These lectures are designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical insights into circular economy practices. The participants in these lectures hail from four major European cities: Barcelona, Venice, Bucharest, and Paris, reflecting the diverse and international nature of the ECOTOPIA program.
The module on the circular economy will cover key concepts such as circular economy principles, circular business models, network governance and the role of transition brokers, circular economy solutions, case studies and the policy framework. Thus providing students with practical knowledge of the circular economy transition. By engaging with these topics, students will gain valuable skills and understanding that are crucial for driving sustainability in their future careers.
This partnership not only enhances the educational experience for the students but also reinforces the commitment of the EUTOPIA Alliance of Universities to integrate sustainability into higher education curricula. Through these collaborative efforts, Circular Change and ECOTOPIA are helping to cultivate a new generation of leaders equipped to tackle the pressing environmental challenges of our time.
